b family ~ wildflower meadows

Hello, magical light. This couple was willing to journey with me to one of my favorite spots. They seemed up for anything and were wearing comfortable footwear, so onward! The sun was hiding for most of the session but when I was taking solo shots of just the husband and wife, it came out… in ALL of its glory. I was like a kid on Christmas morning.

Their little 9 month old guy was so sweet and happy during the session. He loved watching their dog run around and was full of smiles for me. I mean, what was there to be sad about? We had a beautiful night in a beautiful location 🙂 I loved getting the chance to chat with this couple since there was a bit of walking necessary. They met 8 years ago at a gym where he was a manager and the rest is history. They were married in Italy. Is there anything more romantic than that?!

I love the simple style and color scheme that this family went with. They pop against the rustic backdrop. And even though it was a little buggy this night, I told them that backlit bugs actually look amazing in photos haha. Just a small price to pay of a few bug bites 😛
